In the final tournament of the fall season, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns golf team placed three golfers in the top-five en route to a first-place team finish at the Carter Plantation Intercollegiate in Springfield, La. on Tuesday. It was the Cajuns' first win and third top-five finish this year.

Thomas Petts and Andrew Noto each claimed first place finishes at US Amateur Public Links Sectional Qualifiers to advance.

Houston TX - The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Golf Team turned in their best round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship on the final day as they carded a team score of five-under par 283 to jump from eighth to fourth place at the Cypress Wood Golf Club in Houston, Texas. In Conference Honors, Phillipp Fendt was named Freshman of the Year, and Kyle Pritchard and Dustin Petit were named to the All-Sun Belt Team.
Lafayette - Former Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns golfers Michael Smith (2005-08) and Greg Sonnier (1996-99) are in the same pairing at the Louisiana Open, and join several other Cajuns alumni at the event, including Head Coach Theo Sliman.
